Election Technology Council
Formed in 2003, the Election Technology Council (ETC) is a trade association consisting of voting system manufacturers in the United States. The current membership of the Council represents the voting system platforms for 90% of the registered voters in the U.S.
Sequoia Voting Systems is a founding member company of the ETC.
The mission of the ETC is to promote the common interests of the election industry manufacturer community. The organization's goal is to support policies that help voters exercise their right to vote and have their votes accurately recorded, verified and counted. Toward that goal, the ETC supports:
Sequoia's Michelle Shafer is the current Chairperson of the ETC. Ian Piper, Compliance Officer for Premier Election Solutions is the Vice-Chair and Marcus MacNeill, Vice President of Marketing for Hart InterCivic is the Treasurer.
